About Duha Collective

Duha Collective is a community‑led support initiative dedicated to supporting individuals and communities, primarily for women and girls, who are navigating challenges that impact their everyday lives.
We create safe, inclusive spaces where experiences and perspectives can be shared openly and without judgement. Through shared knowledge, structured workshops, and practical skill‑building, Duha Collective supports personal wellbeing while helping individuals build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Our work is designed to empower people to participate fully and confidently in their personal, professional, and civic lives. By centring care, lived experience, and mutual support, we aim to strengthen not only individuals but the wider communities they are part of.

The name Duha reflects the morning brightness,

The name Duha draws its meaning from Surah Ad‑Duha, symbolising the brightness of the morning—the gentle light that follows darkness. It represents reassurance after difficulty, clarity after uncertainty, and hope after hardship. It is a reminder that no one is forgotten, unseen, or abandoned during challenging moments.

Collective speaks to the power of coming together, particularly during times when people are seeking connection, understanding, and a sense of belonging. It reflects the belief that healing, growth, and strength are nurtured through community.

Through thoughtful discussion, bespoke workshops, and creative engagement, Duha Collective creates intentional spaces where every voice is valued. Spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported—both as individuals and as part of a wider community.

Our work is designed to be more than conversation alone. We focus on clear, compassionate actions that help people move forward. By bringing communities together, we aim to break down misunderstandings, reduce barriers, and strengthen cohesion, care, and allyship—ensuring support continues beyond the space itself.
